The Kent Grand Prix is an annual series of ten races in which individuals and teams can win points, counting towards a end of season final ranking.
Well done to all who ran in the Deal 5 on Sunday 6th November 2011, as well as those who have competed across the range of Kent Grand Prix road races this year.
The men have won the series for an incredible fourth year running, and the ladies also did very well to come fourth overall.
Road Race Captain Craig Chapman has done a great job in keeping the momentum going from previous years. Read his report on the race that also has details of the results including prizes won by Harriers and new TWH club records that were set.

The first six (men) and four (women) runners from each club accumulate points for their team in each race and the top runners gets individual points as well. The best six races count towards the end of season individual positions.

KENT CHAMPIONSHIPS - open to all Kent runners who qualify either by birth in the county or by continuous residence for 9 months or more. Enter on the official race entry form. Entries on the day do not count in the Championships. Awards are presented for the first 3 in each category - M, M40, M50, M60, F, F35, F45, F55, male team and female team (3 to score).
KENT GRAND PRIX - open to members of Kent affiliated clubs who have registered at the beginning of the year. Individuals who are not members of Kent clubs may also enter. Points are accumulated at each race meeting for the top 6 men and top 4 women in each club (down to position 100). The team championship is based on the aggregate score over all 10 (11 in 2011) races. The individual championships in categories M, M40, M50, M60, F, F35, F45, F55 is based on the best 6 of 10 (11 in 2011) races.
