Afternoon Harriers,
No silly mega-parkruns to deal with this week, autobob is a little late due to the Hospice 10k this morning, thinking of Bob who’d no doubt be standing on Hungershall Park cheering us up the hill with different levels of encouragement.
65 parkrunners this week and 9 helpers. 4 PBs, 7 first timers and 2 first timers (but in Dutch).
Only a couple of new parkruns this week- Carol and Simon doing the A-Z favourite of Zegerplas and Suzannah heading to Coldham’s Common.
Notable performances from the lesser spotted John Law smashing the 85% barrier at Dulwich (85.7% is the highest TWH I’ve seen), with the usuals of Ali F and Will L also in the 80s. Also want to mention Colin Timmins for doing a great time and high 70s AG at Tonbridge and a PB for this year.
I also heard from a little birdie that Amanda Smith did her 70th tourist destination – a stat I’m sure Statto himself (Bob) would have loved. Doing a different parkrun every week of the year takes some doing!
