Kent Grand Prix: Folkestone 10

Kent Grand Prix
Hi All,

Well done to all who completed the Brighton Marathon and other races over the weekend!

The next event in the Kent Grand Prix is fast approaching, this Friday (Good Friday) 7th April at 10am, the Folkestone 10miler. This is a flat sea-front course along the promenade from Hythe to Folkstone and back, so good potential for a PB. The weather forecast looking positive too so this could be an enjoyable race. I am aware a few Harriers have registered already but it would be good to have a decent turnout to help keep up our strong start in the KGP this season. Currently the men have a 217 point lead and the ladies are in second but not too far behind Tonbridge (see below).
Act fast though as entries close at 10am on Wednesday 5th April – Folkestone 10 Mile Race – Enter Folkestone 10 Mile race online!

Unfortunately, both the new race captains (myself and Charley) are away for this one, but I hope we can still have a strong showing.
I’d suggest lift sharing could be a good option if someone wants to coordinate, perhaps 7.30-8am at the sports centre?
