Wanted to let you all know the arrangements for the BBQ at the French’s house on Sun 05 August. Not far away….
But before that, it would be extremely useful to know who is planning to come along, so I can sort out the catering. Definitely a family friendly day – once the run is over……… Other halfs and families all welcome. Hopefully it will be sunny. The pool will be open and is definitely warm!

Address is Little Durgates, Mayfield Lane, Wadhurst, TN5 6HX. This is opposite Windmill Lane. Just up the hill from the Sacred Heart School.
There is room on the drive for 6 cars – the rest of you should park in Baldock Rd. 50m down the hill – plenty of room.
Suggest that we congregate at 10:00 and set off on the run / walk at 10:30. There is a 12.5 mile long run and a 6 mile short run / walk. Thanks to Reuben for devising and Rich Carter for checking. Detailed instructions will be printed out and the routes will be floured.
No real contact with civilisation, so looking to set up a water drop around half way round the long run – at Reuben’s house.
Back in time for lunch. As per last year, the club will be organising the food and we will be buying the usual burgers, buns, salad, sauces etc. Burgers coming from Andy Joad, so we know they are good quality.
You will need to pay £5 each to participate.
If we have any harriers who prefer the vegetarian option, let me know in advance and I will sort out.
I will be cooking on my gas BBQ. Andy Joad will bring his like last year.
Plus there will be a disposal BBQ for the vegetarian food.
