Morning Harriers,
Many thanks for all those who came on my hash run last night. It was lovely to see so many of you, without you there, there would not have been a hash. Especial thanks to Andy (Puff Tweet) who helped me yesterday in many ways set the hash up.
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the run and the scenery, we are so lucky to be able to run in the countryside we have. Slight apologies for the devious check at Underriver, but that’s hashing, it was designed to slow the front runners down, but perhaps too much. Rules of the hash are — there are no rules !!
Have to say in past days I would have been behind you to keep you on track but setting the trail was enough for my legs yesterday, definitely getting too old for it!
As Andy announced later at our post-run gathering the EGH3 (East Grinstead Hash House Harriers) are putting on a run from the Toad Rock Retreat next Monday, it costs £1 to run and the hash commences at 7pm sharp. If any of you wish to join this hash run I am sure you will be most welcome.
