It is with regret that on such a good day for The Club with the 40th Anniversary Half Marathon giving us one of the best finishes in its history, I have to inform you that John Fuller, who was a very active Club Member from the late eighties for over twenty years, died on Friday having been suffering from Parkinson’s Disease for many years.
It was always said that John went about his business with a perpetual grin on his face, always finding the lighter side of any event no matter how traumatic. He suffered his disease with great dignity and even in his final few weeks was looking forward to his next spinning class (providing he didn’t fall off).
As soon as I become aware of the funeral arrangements I shall advise, so that any members may attend.
