Morning Harriers
The first Kent XC League race will take place this Saturday at Footscray Meadows, Sidcup.
Please find attached course maps as well as a list of TWH entries. Directions and race times are listed below.
Jillian and I will be there early to collect the race numbers. Don’t forget to bring some safety pins to attach your number! Please note that there are no entries on the day (please check the attached entries list to make sure that you have been entered).
The course is suitable for spikes.
Reminder: all runners must wear club kit (deckchair and dark coloured shorts/leggings) — David Castle has a stock (new stock arrived 10th October) of deckchairs at the Running Hub if you don’t have one, have misplaced yours, or need a new one.
LIFT SHARING
Please try and share cars where possible from St Johns Sports Centre. If you are able to give other people a lift or need a lift yourself, please post a message in the club Facebook group and arrange individually. If you don’t use Facebook please contact me or someone else who can post a request for you.
DIRECTIONS
From M25 J3, follow the A20 towards London (SE), taking the exit signed A224 Orpington/Foots Cray. At the roundabout take the fourth exit (A223). At the next roundabout take the first exit (Foots Cray A221). Parking is in the L&Q Group car park (Post code: DA14 5HU) a short distance down the hill on the right.
Leaving the car park, turn right and walk along Footscray High Street, past Lidl supermarket, turn right into Rectory Lane, past Hope Community School and All Saints Church and use the pedestrian gate into the meadows.
Note that Footscray Meadows is within the London ULEZ zone. You can check whether your vehicle is compliant on the TFL Website.

Many thanks to those who volunteered to marshal for some/all of the event. Please report to Race HQ (in the Kent County tent next to the finish area) at 11:30 (half an hour before the first race) where you will be allocated your position.
