KGP June Events

Kent Grand Prix
All,

We have a double-header of Kent Grand Prix events in June. Please note the updated league tables after Chislehurst are not yet available – I will circulate them when they are.

First up on Sunday 11th June is the Tenterden 10k. This is an undulating 10k on road, except a small section through an orchard. Does mean it won’t count for a club PB, however it does count for points for the club towards the KGP so it would be good to have as many as we can representing us. Both the men’s and ladies team remain in the lead in this years championship, but we want to build on this and not let the lead slip, so please enter if you can. Entries close on Monday 5th June.

Based at St. Michael’s Recreation Ground in the town, this is a lovely countryside route. There is a choice of 5…

Next up on the following Sunday, 18th June, we have the Sackett 10k. This is organised by the closest rivals in the men’s league (Thanet) so we should expect them to put out a strong team. This race takes place in Sandwich, undulating, coastal and on road. I appreciate it is a long drive but should be an enjoyable scenic one so would be nice to get a good team together if we can.
I’ll circulate details for car sharing, etc closer to the time.

Thanks,
