I’ve put together a list of (mainly) track events going on in and around the South this summer. I intend on heading to a few and it would be great to have some more Harriers along!

For anyone looking for a 5000m PB, I’d strongly recommend the Hercules Wimbledon Night of the 5000m night on the 5th of August. A few of us did it last year and it’s a great event. You are seeded into a heat based on your PB so you’re guaranteed to be racing with people of similar abilities and there’s normally a pacer too. Afterward, there’s jerk chicken, vege curry and beer so it’s basically a no-brainer…
For folks looking for something closer to home, there’s the Tonbridge AC open meet next Tuesday (6th June). Looks like there’s a 1500m and 5000m. More details here.
