TWH run – 5th April 2023 – Seaside romance ?

Club Events
Good day Harriers,

With a day at the Brighton seaside behind some of us, its time to get back to usual routines.
But, I’m sure you will agree that nothing feels better than running (kissing ?) in Brighton.

This week’s run is a repeat of a Phil Long special from 2014, with more delights and options than the middle aisle of Lidl.

We have a main 7.5 mile long route and shorter route options of 6.8. 6.0 or 5.3 miles. Phil has also very kindly included some extra 1.0 and 0.7 mile loops for the very keen – something for everyone.

No head torch will be needed this week.

So, with Phil as this week’s Routemaster 🚌, fasten your seat belts and let’s go ……

Whether you are preparing for a marathon, recovering from a marathon, or just want to run with your friends, there is something for you.

This week’s route is mostly well lit but please try and stay in groups as much as possible, looking out especially for guests, newer members and wear something bright with a head torch helpful in Rusthall.

Current forecast for Wednesday is for a pleasant and dry 10C.

Tea Total Trevor is hosting us in the bar afterwards, selling the finest beer (Harveys), AF lager and ale, wine and soft drinks in the immediate vicinity, at special prices, with crack sidekick and bon viveur, Rocky, so why not relax and have a drink with your friends before you head home.

(please send more photos of Rocky on the back of a postcard to the usual address).

7:30 prompt start from the Nevill – change rooms, showers and bar all open – it’s time to commit !
